Fridays, 8th + 22nd March ‚Äď at 7pm, immediately after the 6pm Mass + 6.30pm Stations of the Cross, both in the upper church, our Bible Prayer Group will meet in room Agg√§us.¬† All are welcome to join.

Our next After Mass Coffees are on Sundays 10th + 24th March.

Members of the ESCM are asked to support the Food Pantry for our community members by delivering to the Mission office the following items: toiletries for men and women, household detergents, etc. and all non-perishable food items, e.g.: canned fruits, vegetables, soups, meats, tuna, corned beef, dried fruits and cereals, biscuits, sugar, salt, rice, packet soup, pasta sauces, vinegar, cooking oil, etc.  All donations are gratefully received.  Our next distribution will be for the Easter Food Pantry on Wednesday 27th March, 2-3pm.  Please be punctual!!!  Thank you

Sunday, 31st March 2019 - Daylight Saving Time Starts.  When local standard time is about to reach 2am, clocks are turned FORWARD 1 hour.

Thank you!!!  Our BAKE SALE: SOUTH SUDAN & UGANDA DRINK WATER PROJECT FUNDRAISER on Sunday, 27th January raised 611 Swiss Francs.  Thank you also to the fundraising group and to everyone who baked in order to help raise money for these 2 very worthy and necessary projects.

Children First Association - Save the date for our Global Book Fair on 25th May.  Can you help us collect 1000 children’s books in English, German and French?  Proceeds from the book fair go to Room to Read for literacy worldwide.  Write to us at  This email address is being protected from spambots. The English Speaking Roman Catholic Mission in Zurich has been worshipping in St Anton`s Swiss Catholic Parish, since 1962.

St Anton`s Church is a magnificent and beautiful building which in 2009 celebrated 100 years as a place of worship.

9th + 10th ‚Äď Camillian Sisters, Ministers of the Infirm, in Georgia.¬† Their project is to build the "Gran Talitha Kum" Rehabilitation Centre in the city of Akhaltzikhe, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.¬† The decision to build this new centre here, where there is a lack of rehabilitation services, is strategic because of the catchment area, which would include patients from Southern Georgia and Northern Armenia.¬†¬†¬†http://www.camilliani.org/en/newsletter-n-26-the-world-of-the-camillians-seen-frome-rome-and-rome-seen-from-the-world/

16th + 17th ‚Äď Irtysh Valley Project, to help poor families with children, belonging to the parish of St. Teresa in Pavlodar Province, in the Valley of the Irtysh River, North-East Kazakhstan.¬† Our donation will help provide Winter clothes, school starter kits, firewood and coal for heating, as well as food.

23rd + 24th ‚Äď Fastenopfer 2019.¬† Bread for all, Fastenopfer and later partners have been committed to the Ecumenical campaign for a fairer world for 50 years. Commitment to human rights and human dignity is a recurring theme throughout the campaigns of recent decades. ¬†This is also the case in the 2019 anniversary campaign, where strengthening women's rights is the central concern.¬† https://fastenopfer.ch/

30th + 31st ‚Äď This weekend‚Äôs collections are requested by Catherine Tran Thi Tham, Superior of the Convent of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Huong Dao, Phat Diem diocese, Viet Nam. ¬†She asks us to help two girls in very miserable situations, born completely paralysed. ¬†To take care of them has been so far a real burden physically and financially for their poor families. Until now, the local government has only given their families very little financial supports.¬† Please be generous in your help.¬† Thank you.
