What's New ...


Work is being done on St. Anton's bell-tower and the church is very limited in its accessibility to vehicles.  Parking inside the church grounds will be very difficult and very restricted.  This situation will continue until November 2018, so please prepare now to either come to church by public transport, or to seek a parking space elsewhere.

PLEASE NOTE 2: The seating in the crypt has now been fully refurbished.  We are all asked to make sure that our children do not climb on the chairs and to be careful, as much as possible, not to stain or scratch the new leatherette covers.

Our After Mass Coffees during the month of May are on Sundays 6th + 20th.

On Pentecost Sunday, 20th May, 4 adults will be baptized and confirmed, and 3 adults will be confirmed.  Please remember them in your prayers.

Saturday, 26th May, 9am-3pm, SUMMER BOOK SALE of secondhand English paperbacks, plus children's books in both English and German.  Refreshments will also be on sale.  The location is St Andrew's Church Community Centre, Promenadengasse 9, 8001 Zurich,  Catch Tram 3, 5 8 or 9 or Bus 31 to Kunsthaus.

Our First Communion Sunday this year is on 3rd June.  Please remember in your prayers the 14 children of the ESCM who will receive the sacrament for the first time, their families and the catechists who prepared them for this day.

Our 2018 Baptism preparation course for parents (godparents are also welcome) is scheduled for the following Saturday - 16th June.  Please email the office if you wish to attend.

The ESCM is planning a pilgrimage to Fl√ľeli Ranft on Saturday, 23rd June 2018, in honour of Bruder Klaus, patron saint of Switzerland.¬† The cost for each participant will be Chf 50.-¬† Further details will follow as soon as the day's timetable is fixed.¬† If you wish to join this pilgrimage, please email the ESCM office, This email address is being protected from spambots. FOOD PANTRY.¬† Members of the ESCM community are asked to support this project for our community members by delivering to the Mission office the following items: toiletries for men and women, household detergents, etc. and all non-perishable food items, e.g.: canned ‚Äď (fruits, vegetables, soups, meats, tuna, corned beef), dried fruits and cereals, biscuits, sugar, salt, rice, packet soup, pasta sauces, vinegar, cooking oil, chocolate or any other items you would like to donate.¬† All donations are gratefully received.¬† Our next distribution will be on Wednesday 27th June, 2-3pm.¬† Please be punctual!!!¬† There is no Food Pantry distribution in the month of May.¬† Thank you.¬†
